Announcement

Welcome to the central hub for all updates regarding our upcoming golf trip to Las Vegas, scheduled for September 3rd through the 5th, 2026. This page will serve as your go-to source for both general information and specific details as we prepare for the tournament and trip logistics.

For this first announcement, here are the “MUST KNOWS”:

1- All players who attended CFC-II ‘Texas Heat’ have priority booking until Jan. 1st. The first 24 players to submit their deposit will secure a spot. Once the field is full, their will be a waitlist.

2- All players must comply and buy in to the ‘Group Stay & Play Package’ (this will be roughly $300/day for 3 days and includes individual hotel room, transportation to and from course, and green fees).

3- Deposit and layaway monies are refundable, unless money has already been allocated and used/paid to vendors. If you bail out, the sooner the better. (In other words, the earlier you back out, the better chance you’ll receive full refund. The closer to tournament date, and more fees have been allocated for and used, the less likely for a full refund).

4- All flight arrangements will be handled independently by each golfer, so act promptly on travel plans to align with the schedule.

5- All players must have an established GHIN by June 2026. If you can afford a Vegas trip, you can afford a yearly GHIN membership. Keeping an up to date GHIN is vital to run a fair tournament. (Established GHIN means there has to be 20 rounds posted so the system can use average your best 8 to find your official Handicap Index).

6- We are using the same rules and drop/penalty strokes as this previous year.

7- There will be no trophy/awards. All prizes will be cash in hand prizes!

VEGAS BOMBS BABY!

The tournament format will be individual stroke play, with the field capped at 24 players to maintain a competitive and manageable environment.

Your deposit secures your place in this exclusive field and covers critical tournament fees including one green fee, skins game participation, the putt-off challenge, and event merchandise such as a shirt, cap, and commemorative coin.

To ensure your spot, we strongly encourage you to submit your deposit as soon as possible. All players who attended the Texas Heat have priority booking until the end of the year (3 months). On Jan. 1st any remaining spots will be opened up to ‘prospects’ (guys who want in and weren’t able to join last year). They will need time to save and plan for this event. If they fill up the spots before you get your deposit in, then you will be placed on a waitlist.

With that being said, we need total commitment and compliance to a ‘team first’ mentality. The plan is find the best “group stay & play package.” By late spring of 2026 we will start locking down a package that includes hotel on the strip, transportation to and from golf course, and green fees. The bigger the group, the better the rates. This package will be roughly$300 a night for 3 nights (Sept. 3rd, 4th & 5th). **$300 a night is a rough estimate.

As expressed by a few members, staying in the same hotel will make for a better experience for us. It will be a lot more fun to hang out in between golf. Also, several players plan on bringing their spouse, so staying in the same spot gives them the opportunity to link up together without having to travel alone while we are out at the golf course.

If you and your family plan on showing up earlier in the week or staying longer after the tournament, please keep the tournament ‘team mentality’ in mind. Plan to stay the 3 tournament days with the ‘Group Stay & Play Package.’

We offer a $100 per month layaway plan designed to help you ease into the financial commitment for the trip. This flexible option is available to make participation accessible and stress-free.

It’s essential that every participant embraces a "team" mentality. Our success in securing the best lodging rates and priority tee times hinges on having a large, united group. Vegas caters to volume— the more players we bring together, the more benefits we receive, including special accommodations and perks.

This trip truly begins with an idea, but it takes a motivated, committed group to bring it to life. Let’s get on board and make this a memorable Las Vegas golf experience for everyone involved.
